What's in my makeup bag (2025 Edition): Products I actually use

Let's be real- my makeup bag goes almost everywhere with me. If not everywhere, I pick out a few of my must haves from the bag and toss them in my purse on the go. It is an ever changing bag of products I keep cycling in and out, though. A beauty bag can show a lot about someone and I'm gonna spill my current lineup of the products I gravitate towards the most.

A glimpse into my makeup bag

1) Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer- I'm not a fan of foundation. I only use it for bigger events like weddings and stuff because I just don't like how it feels on my face and I break out really bad each time I use it. So, this tinted moisturizer gives the light coverage I need and leaves my skin looking natural.

2) Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer- This is a classic staple that's been in my bag since high school and it never fails me. Gives a good light weight coverage when I need to hide my dark circles and any slight blemishes. Best part? It doesn't absolutely break the bank!

3) Two-Faced Better Than Sex Mascara- Mascara is my number one favorite makeup product. On days where I run out of the house with minimal makeup, mascara is always a must. The Two-Faced Better Than Sex Mascara might just live up to the name because holy WOW. This mascara makes my lashes look so voluminous and long, and I love the way my eyes look.

4) Maybelline Pencil Liner (Espresso)- I like this pencil liner because it's a coffee brown color and I find it looks a liiiitle bit softer on the eyes in comparison to when I use black pencil liner. This is what I grab for a day look, the black pencil liner is what I tend to use for going out at night.

5) Glossier Boy Brow Gel (Clear)- I have thick brows that look better when they're a bit more groomed and fluffed up, so I just brush some of the Glossier clear gel on easy, low-maintenance days.

6) Anastasia Brow Wiz- Since my brows are already on the thicker side, I just lightly fill in any areas where it looks sparse- I mean that one little annoying bald spot on my left brow that just won't grow a couple of brow hairs. This is a product I use when I want to wear heavier makeup for going out.

7) Rare Beauty Lip Oil (Delight & Honesty)- I LOVE RARE BEAUTY. I am a long time Selena Gomez fan from her days on Wizards of Waverly Place (my childhood!) to now. The two shades I use are a rose-brown and nude-brown shade. I think those look the most flattering on my skin tone, and I love the tint it gives. Although, these do tend to wash off after eating and drinking so maybe consider reapply? I'm usually fine with it though, and I love the non-sticky, weightless formula.

8) Rare Beauty Liquid Highlighter (Flaunt)- Again... big fan of Rare Beauty. I opted for this bronzy-gold shade because I thought it suited me the best. I was also going to choose the shade Mesmerize, which is a rose gold shade. This product gives a nice glow to my makeup and a little goes a long way with it. You literally need a tiny bit for it to work!

9) Tarte Sculpt Tape- This is a new makeup product I'm trying. I've never ever used contour before, but this was on sale at Ulta and I've heard good things about it. I have yet to try contouring, but I've really been wanting to learn how to and so I thought why not try now? I've only used this one time, but since it's still included in my bag, I thought I'd share it.

So, that's what's currently in my makeup bag. Obviously, I switch things up so the product listed might change in the future, but this is my current line up!
